Muddy Fields To Arena Tours - Glastonbury Acts Head To Brum!

The fields of Worthy Farm are getting ready for the arrival of hundreds of acts, thousands of fans and five days of festival goodness! Check out some of Glasto acts who'll be swapping the Pyramid Stage for the Barclaycard Arena stage in the not to distant future!

Friday 23rd June

Royal Blood, Pyramid Stage, 5:45pm.

The Brighton two-piece hit the Pyramid Stage on the first official night of Glastonbury and it’s gonna go off! Sandwiched between legendary singer-songwriter, Kris Kristofferson, and one of the most influential groups of our generation, The XX, we know the Royal Blood lads are going to give their all to keep the Glasto crowd going crazy…and they’ll do it with ease!

Royal Blood

With a brand new EP doing bits in the charts, a BRIT award in the bag and an arena tour just announced, things are going from good to great for the heavy-duty rockers. After a jam-packed festival season the lads hit the road on their first headline tour which includes a huge show here in Birmingham on the 18th November!

Saturday 24th June

Katy Perry, Pyramid Stage, 6:00pm.

Saturday night at Glastonbury Festival looks unreal with the Pyramid Stage acting as the tip of the iceberg with the likes of Run The Jewels, Craig David, Foo Fighters, The National and arguably the biggest female pop star in the world, Katy Perry, all taking to the stage at Worthy Farm. There’s nothing this lady hasn’t / can’t do with three consecutive No.1 albums, a shed load of hit singles and 100m Twitter followers, KP is literally taking the world by storm.

Katy Perry

If Katy’s performances at the GRAMMYs, BRIT Awards and the Super Bowl are anything to go by, then her set at Glasto is gonna be OFF. THE. CHAIN. We’re expecting people dressed as houses, twerking sharks and we definitely want that dancing kid from all the viral videos (you know who we’re on about, if not, check out Katy’s SNL performance of Swish, Swish).

Man, all this KP talk has got us thinking…just imagine what she’s going to do on her Witness Tour! We reckon it’s gonna be like all her previous performances combined, rolled up and squished into 2 hours of crazy Katy goodness!

Sunday 25th June

Emeli Sandé, Other Stage, 8:35pm.

It’s been a rollercoaster year for Emeli Sandé, from her carefully planned return to music to an EP in Long Live The Angels which will forever go down as a masterpiece, Sande just keeps on producing the goods! So much so that the ‘Read All About It’ finds herself at the top-end of the bill at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Emeli sits in the slot that Lorde and Stormzy will don two days previous and is sure to be a huge hit with the weekend residents of Worthy Farm. If you’re lucky enough to have a Glasto ticket, she’s definitely someone you should aim to see on Sunday!

Now, Emeli won’t actually be gracing us at the Barclaycard Arena with her presence this year, she takes her 2018 tour to our sister venue Genting Arena (well jel) - but we’re not too worried ‘cos we’ve just bagged a few tickets for ourselves, maybe you should too? Get Emeli Sandé tickets now!
