With 2015 just around the corner, we thought it would only be right to give you a rundown of the shows to look out for in the New Year!

One Direction
10 – 12 OCT 2015

The world’s biggest pop act return to their homeland next year with the eagerly awaited announcement of dates in Birmingham.

Following already announced dates in Europe, North America, Asia and South Africa, One Direction will return next autumn – giving fans the chance to see the band perform songs from their brand new album ‘FOUR’ for the first time alongside all their much-loved hits.


Michael McIntyre
18 – 19 & 25 – 26 SEP 2015

Michael McIntyre returns with his hotly anticipated brand new stand-up show Happy & Glorious. With special guest Paul Tonkinson.

Michael’s previous tour Showtime was the biggest selling comedy tour in the world in 2012

Most recent highlights have included him making his debut as a chat show host on The Michael McIntyre’s Chat Show for BBC1. But now Michael is set to return to the stage in what promises to be his biggest and funniest tour yet.


Nicki Minaj

Rap’s reigning queen NICKI MINAJ will launch The Pinkprint Tour in Europe including a date at the Barclaycard Arena on 4 April 2015. The tour also features special guest Grammy Award-nominated R&B superstar Trey Songz, who recorded two #1 collaborations with Nicki—“Touchin/Loving” and “Bottoms Up.” 

About the tour, NICKI comments, “It’s been way too long since I’ve seen my European Barbz! I can’t wait to get back and party with all of you with Trey Songz. We have more than a few surprises in store, and I promise this will be my biggest and best tour yet!”

Sainsbury’s Indoor Grand Prix

This year’s Sainsbury’s Indoor Grand Prix will return to Birmingham’s newly renovated Barclaycard Arena, formerly known as the NIA, where the biggest British and global athletics superstars will descend on the West Midlands in an afternoon jam-packed full of world-class athletics.

Those who were lucky enough to get their hands on tickets to last year's sell-out event saw some show stopping performances from Britain’s finest. GB & NI’s James Dasaolu saw off the likes of Jimmy Vicaut, Mike Rodgers, Dwain Chambers and Kim Collins to win the 60m, clocking a time 6.50, while there were also home wins for European Indoor champion pole vaulter Holly Bleasdale, Laura Muir in the 1500m and Nigel Levine in the 400m.


BBL Cup Final 2015

One of the most eagerly anticipated days of the British hoops calendar, the prestigious BBL Cup Final is once again heading back to what has become its’ spiritual home at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.

Since his massive Tuskeegee Tour in 2012 delighted audiences across Europe, today the multi-platinum selling artist Lionel Richie announced he is set to return to the UK for a 31-date tour that will see him perform at the Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham on Saturday 14 March 2015.

Speaking about bringing his tour to Europe Lionel said:

“I can’t wait to get back to the UK. The audiences are always so great and I always have an incredible time when I’m in the United Kingdom. The show feels like a great big sing-along most nights so I’m looking forward to singing along with the people of the UK again!”
