The ever-popular Premier League Darts continued its tour of the UK with the one we've all been waiting for - Birmingham!

A raucous Birmingham crowd were in full voice throughout with many of the players adopting almost rock-star status amongst thousands of fans.

None more than so than man of the moment Michael van Gerwen, who was again the star of the show here and regained his place at the top of the table with an emphatic 7-1 victory over James Wade. Earlier in the night previous leader Phil Taylor slipped to a surprise defeat to fan favourite Peter Wright, much to the delight of his army of fans, some of which even went the extra mile to show their support with many fluorescent wigs on show!

While there was undoubtedly some high quality darts on show and some closely fought battles, this made for only part of the occasion. The atmosphere and noise amongst the crowd was spectacular and really is what makes the darts the spectacle it is today.

    Peter Wright 7-4 Phil Taylor

Raymond van Barneveld 5-7 Gary Anderson

    Adrian Lewis 7-2 Robert Thornton

James Wade 1-7 Michael van Gerwen

    Peter Wright 6-6 Gary Anderson

The darts is growing in popularity every year, and it’s easy to see why. Experienced, passionate pros, crowd interaction and mass sing-alongs all makes for a great night out, and one which is the envy of many other sports.
