Princess of Pop Kylie Minogue put on a show-stopping performance as she blew the roof off the newly named ‘Barclaycard Arena’ during her ‘Kiss Me Once’ tour.

As she rose from underneath the stage on a sofa made of red lips, the audience were instantly on their feet dancing to seductive opening track ‘Les Sex’.

In true show girl style, accompanied by an entourage of sultry dancers, Kylie wowed the crowd with old favourites such as ‘Spinning Around’ and ‘On A Night Like This’. She left the audience speechless and hypnotised when performing ‘Slow’ along with her gravity-defying soloist dancer.

Bathing in a bath of feathers and glitter alongside her topless male dancers, Kylie took us back to her roots with an 80’s medley of hits such as ‘Hand on Your Heart’ and ‘I should Be So Lucky’. The crowd loved every minute.

Kylie went on to show off her voice with covers such as INXS ‘Need You Tonight’ and Robbie Williams cover ‘Kids’. The entire Arena was up on their feet singing, prompting a mid-song, a capella audience participation of her best song to date ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’.

A true professional, Kylie drew the show to a holt by bringing a fan on stage to take a selfie. And as she performed her first ever recorded track ‘The Loco-Motion’ once again, she made a young man’s dream come true by picking him from out the crowd and bringing him up on stage to perform the iconic dance routine with her.

Ending on a high with crowd favourites ‘All The Lovers’ and her new single ‘Into The Blue’, Kylie proved to Birmingham just what an entertainer she is, and that there are still many more years of pop to come from this truly fascinating star!
