Take note Take That fans!
If you’re joining us for Take That here at Arena Birmingham over the next week or so, then please give this a little read!
So the time is finally here, Take That arrive in Brum as part of their Greatest Hits Live Tour - and we at Arena Birmingham, want to ensure you lot have got all the info on running orders, road closures and expected traffic around the venue...just so you can plan your journey knowing all the potential hiccups.
First up, if you’re joining us on Sunday 12th May, then this bit is for you.
Please be aware that the 2019 Birmingham Velo will be taking place in the city on this day which means several main roads around and leading to the venue will be closed throughout the day. Best thing to do is to check out the official Velo website here for a more detailed idea of closures which will then help you guys plan your route to our place.
If you’re coming to see the boys on 14th, 16th or 18th May, then this next bit will affect you. There are going to be closures on the M6 which you need to factor into your journey home after the show has finished. All closures will be overnight, with full closures being implemented from 10pm at the earliest and lane closures being in place from 8pm.
14th May: Full closure southbound between junction 4 to junction 2
16th May: Closures in both directions between junctions 4 and 2, and additionally between 2 and 4.
18th May: Full closures southbound between junctions 3 and 2.
Please plan alternative routes/transport accordingly, we want you all to be able to get home as swiftly as possible once the show has finished.

Now all of that’s out of the way and you’re aware of any potential issues, all that’s left to do is make sure you sing ya hearts out and dance your shoes off when Gary, Mark and Howard step out on the stage here in Birmingham! Bring it on boys!
